It’s truly a privilege to provide a home for a old horse.
Winston no longer needs to carry a rider, he probably gave his all doing that for decades. And once his old body could no longer do the job he was discarded at a kill pen. His old body no longer can chew hay or eat grass but this sweet old man sure loves his old man mush.
Even though he can’t really graze that doesn’t stop him from enjoying his days in the pasture with all the other old men. Watching him enjoy life in his 30’s in a blessing. Winston is just one in a pasture of many on our mush bucket crew.
